Tam Dao National Park is based in the Tam Đảo range, which is one of the terminal spurs of a larger mountainous area in the Northwest region of Vietnam. It runs 80 km from north west to south east, and has more than 20 peaks with altitudes of over 1000m. The highest summit is Tam Đảo North with an altitude of 1592 m. Three other peaks with beautiful scenery are Thien Thi at 1375 m, Thach Ban at 1388 m and Phu Nghia at 1300 m. Sharp peaks with sloping sides and numerous, deep partitions are characteristic of the topology.
At an elevation of 930 metres, Tam Đảo town was established by French colonists in 1907 as a tranquil hill resort in northern Vietnam. Several luxurious villas designed for the French still remain. It is now an enclave administratively belonging to Vinh Yen city. The boundary of the national park is located at an altitude of 100 m around the Tam Đảo range. There is a larger buffer zone (which has area of approximately 535 km2) which surrounds the national park which has an altitude below 100 m. Seventy per cent of the area of the park is covered by natural and artificial forest. The natural forest is about 220 km2 and the human altered forest is about 30 km2. Due to the tall mountainous range that splits the area into two parts, the national park’s climatic condition is divided into two areas with different rainfalls. This difference and some other factors such as the effect of human activity divide the park into some smaller climatic zones which increase the bio-diversity in the park. I design all of own itineraries, carefully and hard work for each new route. I constantly review my tours to ensure that we offer the best of my experience for cycle. My cycling tour is one of very few cycle tour in Vietnam. If you search in the Internet you will see my itineraries, store, photos appear on some other Vietnamese websites.

I have been working with some oversea cycling tour in USA, Australia, Europe… But I dont  agreement for Vietnamese travel agent resell my itineraries and bike component, cloth, accessories, bike part, bike hire… That mean they stolen my photos and information. Imitate and steal ideal are a part of life in Vietnam but please be careful with this.

Thank

Joe

Experience hiking vietnam in Ta Pu Nhu - Cloud Paradise must visit once in a lifetime
Located in the northern mountains of Yen Bai, Ta Che Nhu, also known as the "Kingdom of the sun and the wind", is one of the must-have places in the collection of people who love the high mountains. Ta Nhi Nhu with harsh climate and paddle road seems to be more difficult than the road to the roof of Indochina with mountainous terrain but still attract the conqueror with beauty clouds clouds wind mountain mountain scenery here .

Section 1: From Sai Gon / Hanoi to Yen Bai

- From Saigon, you can travel by bus from Ho Chi Minh City to Yen Bai at Crossroads Station, the fare is about 600,000 VND but the travel time will take nearly 2 days, 42 hours.

Or you can fly to Hanoi, then take the passenger car to Yen Bai as the instructions below.

- From Hanoi, you can choose to move by car or motorbike. If you go by car, you go to My Dinh or Giap Bat bus line Ha Noi - Yen Bai, car tickets range from 100,000 - 150,000, travel from more than two hours to a maximum of 5 hours depending on the car. If you ride for 5 hours you can choose the night for saving time.

If you like to go by motorcycle, you go by the following: From Hanoi -> Nhon -> Son Tay -> cross the Trung Ha bridge turn left to Thanh Thuy -> fall 3 Thanh Son Thu Cuc -> Pass -> Three Khe turn left to Nghia Lo.

Section 2: From Nghia Lo, Yen Bai to Xa Ho (climbing point)

If you come to Yen Bai City, you can rent a motorbike to travel to Yen Bai. You go further 3.5km to Tram Tau then go to the next several kilometers to Xa Ho, 6 to 7 km further to the lead mining camp. Through the gate of this camp, you ask for protection and send your car to begin the journey full of expectations.

2. Suggest the schedule to conquer Ta Chiu Nhu

Day 1: Hanoi - Nghia Lo (Yen Bai)

You follow the instructions above. Note after arrival should rest, eating for relaxation is to exercise. And the most important thing is to watch the weather forecast climb, if it rains you should change the road because the road when the rain is slippery dangerous.

Day 2: Nghia Lo - Tram Tau - Xa Ho - Ta Chi Nhu

From the road from Nghia Lo to Xa Ho, you follow the instructions mentioned above. Notice the road is very bad, there is fog but still driving, the steering wheel must be hard.

From the foot of the mountain up to the break point, you should leave soon, by 10am at the latest to arrive before dark. Climbing from the foot of the mountain to the holiday point with the average degree of accommodation on the road takes about 6-7 hours.

The climbing path is a small trail and very steep, walking up the trees so there is no shade, dangerous mountain and no clinging, many sections have to crawl up. Naked bumps should be very strong winds, should lower the focus to climb, to lose strength. Next to the vertical road, there is no stopping point and visibility is limited, the higher the lift, the more dilute the air, the stronger the wind and the lower the temperature you will feel each time the wind echoes through the ears in the face. At this dangerous time, you should bend down to avoid the wind.

However, forget about hard work and enjoy the journey by admiring the magnificent nature of the road with the dense evergreen forest. Not to mention the dense woods interwoven with each other, hidden in the dim white clouds as the forest that people practice martial arts in ancient China.

After that you will set foot to a place to rest is a hut, this place near natural water so you can set up camp and cook. The reward for you is a thousand-star night sky, eating together, sharing the land of the mountains and forests at night immense, leaving memories and emotions worthwhile in each person's life.

Note: If it is dark and not reach the desired holiday destination, it is best to stop, seek the wind, wide enough to camp, should not go to climb because mountain climbing is very dangerous.

Day 3: Up the mountain hunting clouds - down the mountain, back to Hanoi

The next morning to get up early to catch the sunrise and hunt the clouds. Peak of the Mountain of Pity Puddle in the sea of white clouds floating with the first pure sunshine of the day lightly wade through each cloud down to create a beautiful scene that only brilliant through the new hardships. can enjoy. However, to hunt for clouds depends on the weather, so you have to schedule the forecast before picking the day clear sky.

After you move down the mountain, the way down much faster but notice the slippery roads easy to fall due to wet dew. Finally, parting Yen Bai and return to Saigon / Hanoi only.
